Augmented reality for campus orientation

In this project the students will develop an android application that assists in getting around the Technion. Aiming the mobile device at various landmarks around the campus will show live camera images overlaid with graphics and text. The project is an extension of a previous work that utilizes gps and orientation sensors. This project will add the following features:  stabilizing noisy sensors measurements using image processing, adding a module to perform semi-automatic calibration of the camera and adding navigation service. Programing is done on android devices in Java and C++ and utilizing OpenCV library.
